New Age Learning Space
We are located in four stories building that has a total build up area of about 11,000 sq ft. Altogether we have 8 classrooms, a piano room, a dinning hall for pre-school children, 2 Design studio, a hang out area, badminton courts and also space for taekwondo. We will also have two fully equip laboratory to carry out IGCSE level experiments.
The learning space is designed with different objectives in mind.
Classroom.
Small classroom setting is a learning space for small group learning. Lessons will be more engaging as compare to big classroom. The small group setting will allow for more individualize attention and more opportunity for participation. All classroom at TSA is fitted with state of the art interactive board to help students learn visually. All classroom at lower primary has a maximum of 12 students and upper primary, maximum at 25 students.
New age hang out area.
Such learning space normally provide a condusive environment for sharing among learners from different discipline. It facilitate cross disciplinary thinking which is condusive for creative thinking. Students could use this space to hone public speaking to a bigger audience. Peers interaction in a condusive environment is one factor that must not be overlooked. It is also a great space for learner to do their homework or work on group project.
Design Studios.
This are learning space that is equipped with tools such as 3D printers, computers, lego robotics, and micro-controllers, so that students could work on projects or the prototyping a real product or learn to animation or developing mobile apps. Younger student will play with lego engineering sets which is great at honing creative skills.
Laboratory.
To really appreciate the knowledge of science, students need to get their hands on investigative experiments or perform thorough scientific analysis. Such experiential learning will allow learners to hone their critical thinking skills.
Taekwondo studio.
Students education will not be complete without the routine of physical education in their time table. TSA encourage their students & also teachers to participate in sports such as Badminton, Yoga and Taekwondo. Life can only be more fulfilling if we live a healthy lifestyle.
Piano room.
Playing the piano is known to develop many different region of the brain. Studies have also indicated that learning to play the piano at a young age will improve the cognitive abilities of the learner.
Factors that affect the pursuit of academic excellence are many and we must not discount a condusive learning space. It makes all the difference if the learner feel relax and comfortable in an environment where they are surrounded by coaches and peers that would help them to succeed.
