PIANO

Studies has indicated that music training like playing the Piano at a young age has a significant effect on the development of the brain. Those who began early had stronger connections between motor regions.

Although, we have not fully understood how our brain operates, in recent years neuroscientist has had many breakthrough in their understanding. Brain development is no longer confine to left and right brain. Our brain is divided into many regions. It turns out, learning to play the piano develops more regions of the brain. It is proven that students who play instruments will have positive transferable benefits in enhancing cognitive abilities.

WHAT TAEKWONDO CAN DO?

Physical and mental fitness.
It is proven that physical exercise will have a direct positive impact on mental health. In addition taekwondo is also a discipline that enhances:-

Concentration
Learning the patterns and sequences of taekwondo requires concentration and attention, and sparring requires focus on both one's self and one's opponent.

Discipline and Respect
Taekwondo students must learn to follow directions from an instructor and are expected to show respect to the instructor. Students are also expected to show respect to their opponents before and after a sparring match.

Self-confidence
As children dedicate themselves to a goal in taekwondo -- say, learning a particular strike, earning a belt or practicing how to break a board -- they gain confidence as they observe their own progress and increasing mastery.
